This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This will make a difference for my students as it will allow them to use physical copies of the We The People textbook instead of using a digital copy which can sometimes be most difficult for students to work with. What makes my students special is their eagerness to take on a challenge; these textbooks help students in training for future success. The goal of this project is to ultimately have more students master the content related to US and Nevada governments so our students can be well-versed to actively participate in the democratic process and thus create a stronger democracy.
Donations used to purchase the We The People textbook will allow my students to accelerate their learning and development.
Specifically, this project will address the following standards: SS.9-12.CE.13, SS.9-12.CE.14, SS.9-12.CE.15, SS.9-12.CE.16., SS.9-12.CE.17., SS.9-12.CE.22., SS.9-12.CE.23., SS.9-12.CE.24., SS.9-12.CE.25., SS.9-12.CE.26., SS.9-12.CE.27., SS.9-12.CE.28., SS.9-12.CE.29., SS.9-12.CE.30., SS.9-12.CE.31., SS.9-12.CE.32., SS.9-12.CE.33., SS.9-12.CE.34., SS.9-12.CE.35., SS.9-12.CE.36., SS.9-12.CE.37., SS.9-12.CE.38. C, SS.9-12.CE.40., SS.9-12.CE.41., and SS.9-12.CE.42.
