This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are out of this world. We are middle class, hard-working families that want all our kids to love school and succeed. Engagement is key, and with more great reading material we can obtain our goals! Diversity and community-driven are keywords to describe our future leaders! I love my students and will do anything to captivate their hearts as well as their minds. I feel honored to teach these students and will do anything to keep them going.

My Project

Make reading boring no more!! The I Survived series are captivating books meant to grab the readers’ imagination and curiosities. Putting the students in the historical situations will make them want to investigate, visualize, and infer problem-solving skills. Help us venture the world’s events through the I Survived books! These books will make a difference by integrating history, literacy, and writing. By donating to our project, you are helping to contribute to lifelong readers. Going to reading class will be something they look forward to and will enjoy. Writing about these books will be an added bonus too!
