My Students

My class LOVES to sing! It's a way for them to express themselves while boosting their confidence and increasing their English language skills.

My students are a dynamic bunch!

They come from all walks of life. I have several who are second language learners, others who are on the autism spectrum, some who come from extreme poverty, and a couple who have been in this country for less than a year. They have all grown so much and made so much progress over the last year.

My Project

I would really love to get my students a karaoke machine, an auxillary splitter, and four microphones to help them express themselves and improve their speaking skills. A karaoke machine would be a great tool for this because their voices would be amplified for the whole class to hear. I intend to use this machine when they give oral reports and when they make announcements to the class.

If my class had a karaoke machine, it would make it easier for them to feel more comfortable speaking in front of the class.

It would amplify their voices and allow them to hear what they sound like in front of an audience.
