This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Ah, proper pencil sharpening tools are always the bane of existence for students and teachers alike. The kids love those fancy schmancy designer pencils, but they are wrapped in plastic, which clogs the average pencil sharper. Don't get me started on how the colored pencils muck up the works!

This campaign will help us finish out this year at our sharpest (pun intended) by providing high quality pencil and colored pencils sharpeners.

Both mechanical and hand held sharpeners will provide access to the sharpest of pencils as well as limit disruptive sharpening (provided by dinosaur contraptions) and messy shavings (provided by poorly constructed cheap-o sharpeners).

With these tools, our nerves will be calmer, our notes will be easier to read and our classroom environment will be a beautiful space to learn in.
