My Project

My classroom of 3rd graders is eager to learn each day that we spend together in our class family. They love books, and we are working through different genres together! We have been exploring some Greek mythology and tall tales.

I want to give them folk tales that reflect their cultures, and help them explore many different cultures through stories!

We are enjoying the genre of traditional literature (folk tales, fairy tales, tall tales, mythology, etc.) but my classroom library is.... too traditional. I would love to get them a wider selection than just the fairytales we've already read. These books would deepen our senses and expand our literary minds. Thanks for helping!
