We Rock Recess!

Help me give my students the opportunity to have meaningful interaction with classmates during indoor recess by providing activities that promote teamwork and cooperation.

My Project

We have to combine classes for indoor recess. These items would be shared among 38 students during a 30 minute recess period. The magnetic block set would allow for collaborative work and foster creative thinking. The puzzle sets promote problem-solving. The ring toss games and stepping stones promote physical activity that can be contained within an indoor setting.

I have chosen items that encourage cooperation and teamwork.

These are skills that need to be fostered and developed in kindergarten students, so they can build positive peer relationships.

Providing these resources for indoor recess will give students some meaningful options during their play.
