This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
This project goal is to assist students whose families are new to the country. Newcomers are in need of food, clothing and hygiene supplies when they first enter the country and get settled into their school immunity. We would like to help out student families settle in with basic essentials being supplied to them. We often put together care packages for our Newcomer families but our supplies are running low and we are asking for help from the DonorsChoose community to allow us the ability to continue this tradition. Our school motto is, " I will take care of you" and we try and live by that each and every day.
