This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My fifth grade class is composed of a group of eager learners.
I have noticed that many of my students are not educated on what is taking place in our Nation. This is a major problem. The solution to this problem is to make my students informed and educated citizens. I feel that providing the students with the opportunity to find out about current events in a kid friendly manner will aid in informing them.
To keep my students informed and educated about our Nation's current events I am seeking a class subscription to the Weekly Reader Magazine. This magazine is filled with current event articles and activities that can be used for direct reading instruction.
Your donation will help ensure that my students are informed citizens . Thank you in advance for helping educate America's Youth.
