My students need floor matting to give them traction during their team workouts!
This project expired on July 14, 2018.
Hooray! This project is fully funded
My classroom consists of transition-aged students (19-21 years) who are on the cusp of entering the world as adults out of post-secondary school. Beyond our doors, they will be entering the workforce without the support and protection offered by our staff. They will need to be able to fend for themselves.
Each student is unique and their needs are all different.
Every day they are honored for their abilities and praised for their successes! Our school focuses beyond graduation when it comes to teaching our students to be successful in post-school life. Our school is broken down into 3 "Pathways" to independence. Our Pathway students attend a federal setting 4 special education program to support their needs and get them ready for post-graduation life. Many of the students at our school are diagnosed with severe and profound developmental disabilities including Autism and Severe Multiple Impairments. Our school is filled with committed staff who create a meaningful school experience for all students and their unique needs.
We are building our team training & exercise area to prepare for sports being played on our new Miracle-League field! Our past few successful campaigns have focused on free weights, cardio, and core strengthening. We have been putting our new equipment to use and are already seeing gains in our athletes' core strength, flexibility, and stamina!
We need shock-absorbing floor matting to give us traction and help to protect our new equipment during team workouts and training.
Please help up gain traction and get us to the next competitive level by donating to our campaign, or sharing our campaign with others.
