My students run the gambit. There are freshman, sophomores, juniors, and seniors, boys and girls, moneyed and poor, successful students and struggling students. Whatever they are they all deserve the chance to do as well as possible and to develop skills in school.
My Project
It is one of the goals of World History to expose students to a much broader scope of cultures, politics, and human relations. It is also a goal of our High School to prepare students fully for college by developing in them the academic skills needed, but also by building body of knowledge that will maximize the college experience. You can aid in the pursuit of these goals with your kind donation. Music is one of the most distinctive parts of various cultures. My classes have always had the chance to hear Chinese music, African rhythms, Native South American tunes, and various jazz selections. Our problem is that the class CD player quit working. The nice thing about having the headphones is that a student who is out with a sick day can listen to the music privately and not disturb other students working in the class.
