My Project

Dear Donors,

I am a passionate math teacher at a high school in Seattle, dedicated to providing the best possible education for my students.

However, our school faces some challenges, and one of them is having enough graphing calculators for all my students.

One of the biggest hurdles we face is the lack of access to essential resources, such as graphing calculators. These tools are invaluable for teaching advanced concepts in algebra, geometry, calculus, and beyond. They empower students to visualize mathematical concepts, analyze data, and solve complex problems, ultimately preparing them for higher education and future careers in STEM fields.

Unfortunately, our school lacks sufficient funding to provide each student with a graphing calculator, hindering their learning experience and limiting their academic potential.

To address this issue, I am launching this DonorsChoose project to raise funds for six TI-84 graphing calculators for my classroom. These calculators are widely used in high school math courses and are essential for our students' success.

By donating to this project, you will directly impact the lives of students in Seattle, providing them with the tools they need to excel in math and pursue their dreams. Project Goals:

• Provide six TI-84 graphing calculators for my classroom.

• Improve students' understanding of advanced math concepts.

• Increase student engagement and participation in math activities.

• Close the achievement gap and promote equity in education.
