Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
To help my students learn good organization and note-taking skills to prepare them for college, I am requesting notebooks (one for each student) and a variety of pens. Students will use their notebooks to write essays and revisions, study vocabulary, and do classwork. The pens will help make note-taking a little more fun. Having a dedicated English notebook will help students become more organized, a skill that will be utilized throughout their lives and will enable them to see themselves as scholars and take ownership of their work.
