We are a Title I rural K-6 elementary school, and because of a school expansion, we get to have a classroom for art for the first time! The school has been using art-on-a-cart (visiting general classrooms) for decades, and there is no furniture for practicing visual arts! I am so excited to offer the students more immersive, messy, art projects, and we need tables to do those things!

Students look forward to exploring visual arts at school. It is fun, therapeutic, and often not encouraged at home. (Who else wants the mess besides an art teacher?!) I integrate math, reading, science, and social science skills into my lessons. We need large, smooth tables so that students have room to fit large pieces of paper, spread out their mess, and feel calm and creative.
Stools allow the students to feel alert and creative. Having beautiful, colored stools, even better to get those happy, creative endorphins going.
