My Students

I serve nineteen kindergarten students who live in the heart of the mountains of Kentucky. They are bright, energetic, and very eager learners. They are at a critical time in their lives, the beginning stages of reading, math, and developing socially. I strive to make learning fun and engaging for all of my students. It is such a joy to watch as they gain new skills. Since kindergarten is the springboard for knowledge, I want to ensure that my students will be prepared for the future.

My Project

My students need school supplies to finish out a successful year. We need tissues, Clorox wipes, baby wipes and Ziploc bags. As the seasons change, the Clorox wipes, baby wipes, and tissues will be used to prevent the spread of germs in my classroom. The Ziploc bags will be used to store our reading books that students take home each night. They will also be used to store math manipulatives that students need, as well as aiding students in keeping up with their materials.

These items are a must in my kindergarten classroom!
