My Students

As a teacher in an urban school environment, my students are faced with many challenges inside and outside of the classroom. However, my students overcome these challenges on a daily basis and come to school, ready to learn, to give their all, and do their best.

My students bring with them a multitude of different backgrounds, but share in common a thirst for learning and desire to succeed.

Every opportunity that can be afforded to them is necessary so that they can have a well-rounded and successful education.

My Project

The most memorable science lessons are the ones that are hands on and inquiry-based. Mystery Science is an interactive, hands on, student centered science program perfect for super charging student interest in science.

My students are excited and engaged with science - now they need the materials to get hands on experience with it.

The materials requested for this project will allow all of the fifth grade students at my school to participate in a series of hands on, investigative, interactive science lessons from Mystery Science.

With your help, my students can take their understanding of science to the next level and become the future scientists of the next generation!
