My Project
I have students of varying needs and abilities in my classroom and I want to create a safe and nurturing environment for all of my students. After spending a year at home learning virtually, many students came back to the school building with the need to move throughout the day. Flexible seating options will help keep my students energized, improve posture, and create better oxygen flow to the brain, allowing for more focused engagement during the school day. I have a number of students that learn and focus best whilst moving, and I want to provide them safe seating options to move as needed.
By guiding my students to use appropriate tools to help them move appropriately during lessons and that address tactile needs, I can ensure that they are receiving information and are growing academically. With the help of donors like you, my students will be able to move in a focused manner.
