My Students
Don't you love when you can instill cleanliness and organization skills on your child? Well I would love to do that in the classroom and in order to do this we need more storage space!
My students are a diverse group of caring, hardworking kids.
I have Latino's, African Americans, Chinese, Japanese, and Vietnamese students that are all at school to work hard no matter what is happening at home. Most of my students go home, watch T.V. and don't ever go outside and visit new places that are just around the corner. My students come from a low-income area, most kids are on free lunches. Although some come from a tough home life they come to school everyday eager to learn and do something new and creative.
My Project
We will be using this table cart for students to organize materials such as papers, journals, folders, homework. Students will be in charge of keeping it organized, which will help them with their organization skills. It is important for them to learn this at a young age so they can keep doing it as they get older.
We are an open concept school and space is limited.
We need the space to take paper products off of desks and tables and be able to put it somewhere hidden away but also accessible to the kids.
