My students come to school with enthusiasm and excitement for learning. My goal is to enhance their learning by providing tools to keep them engaged.
This will allow me to reach all of my students at their particular learning level and help them grow to their greatest potential.
I teach at a Title 1 low income school district in Mississippi where about 85 percent of our students receive free breakfast and lunch. Many students receive supplemental food bags to take home on the weekend.
I want to do whatever it takes to make sure my students have materials needed to create a safe, loving, and fun learning environment while they are at school.
My Project
The ultimate goal is to offer meaningful opportunities to my first graders as they began their journey toward digital age readiness.
Students will use iPads to complete activities in a range of subject areas, including language arts, science, social studies, math, and art.
