We Need Some Stuff

Help me give my students odds and ends we need for everyday farm chores and projects.

My Project

On any given day on the farm, we might have to fix a fence, put up a fence, or dig some holes to put in fence posts. We also have a huge garden we are redoing that needs supplies like compressed coconut soil and vermiculite. The wire, clippers, and gloves will be used anytime we need to fix or construct fencing around the farm and the duct tape and zip ties will be used for pretty much anything else. I try to teach my students to be resourceful with the things we already have and to try to get by with just the necessities.

Having a school farm allows my students to learn outside of the box every single day.

We find a problem, figure out how to fix it, and get right to work. My students have constructed coops, poured cement, demolished buildings, and pretty much anything else we have had to do, and had fun while doing it. I am forever grateful that they love this farm as much as I do and continue to do all the things we have to do to keep it up and running.
