This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Every day, my students start off in our gathering circle. After they take care of housekeeping, we come together to discuss what we will be learning about today. They can't wait to start the fun learning. This is our motto: Listen, Think, and Try! My students work hard every day and they are super eager to learn.
My students come from a variety of backgrounds.
They range from students who are learning the English language (ELL/ESL students) to ones who are special education students and everyone in between. The community is very supportive of our school, and we work to meet the needs of all our students.
My Project
My students are located away from the kindergarten playground this year so we have to be creative and use equipment in the older student's playground. Recess is a great time to play and exercise so I'm hoping these materials will keep the students in shape and allow them time to enjoy the great outdoors.They will be able to access a grassy field/blacktop, a play structure and swings on different days.
My students will be able to work on hand and eye coordination with the ball set and bean bag toss.
The hula hoops will help them have fun and work on their core strength. Thank you for your support!
