Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our students lead very busy lives. In addition to keeping up with their school work, they work part-time jobs or take care of family members. Our students have a lot to do outside of the school building. Our school building is a space for our students to take a break from their outside lives, build their thinking capacity, and develop life skills.
But they can only do that if their mental health is developed and prioritized.
Whether students need to regroup by listening to music with headphones, exercising a new part of their brains by coloring, or just eating something to get back on track, our students have many different needs. Funding this project will get them one step closer.
