This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My students are between the ages of 11 and 14 years old and they are all eager to learn. They come to school each day having faced various challenges to get there. They are students of varying ability levels. Some of them have great math backgrounds and others are still learning foundational math skills. They are all scholars striving to do their best and creating a great foundation for high school and the rest of their lives. Let's give them what they need.
My Project
Kids in school always need new pencils, when you're a hard worker you go through pencils really quickly. Please help me supply my hard workers with what they need to get the problem solved.
At work when you go above and beyond you receive a pay raise my students get a piece of candy.
They love that tangible reward for a correct answer or just having improved behavior, which for some students is a big accomplishment.
I need the label maker to label our craft boxes so the students can easily find the supplies they need.
