We Need Nonfiction Books and Manipulative Storage

Help me give my students a beautiful 5-shelf bookshelf on wheels to store nonfiction, decodable, and tradebooks related to science topics!

My Project

My students love to read, and I absolutely love to teach them how! Connecting science, math, and nonfiction with reading instruction are absolutely critical. These types of materials provide the background information and vocabulary needed to be successful readers. In fact, it was one of the main focuses of the International Literacy Convention that I attended.

I work very hard to supply these science and STEM-related books to my students, and to provide daily opportunities for students to read them during our daily reading lessons.

We need a place to store our wonderful nonfiction, science tradebooks, science decodable, and manipulatives so that my students can have easy access! Please help me to provide a place for students to store, explore, borrow and share wonderful nonfiction science books. This bookshelf is nice and tall, it is industrial strength, and it will hold plenty of books and hands-on learning materials for my students to easily grab as needed. We can't wait to make this a very special part of our classroom learning environment! Thank you so much for looking at our project.
