My Students
Third grade is a huge year for kids to grow and explore the world. My students are extremely curious and kind humans who love to learn about others and the world. They love to use hands-on materials to understand difficult concepts and to problem solve. Within my classroom, we have over a dozen languages and cultures represented. Our classroom diversity provides an amazing environment for us all to learn from each other every day. As a community, we strive to think critically and treat one another with respect and kindness! It is essential that we have the community materials we need to learn and grow together.
My Project
"Can we have more reading time?" "Can I take this book home to finish?" "Do you have a book about...?" My 3rd-grade students love to read! They love learning about the world and sharing what they have read. Even though we are remote learning, our love for reading doesn't change!
We need exciting non-fiction books to send home during remote learning so students can continue to grow their love of reading! These texts will support all 3rd graders at our school to read about weather, snakes, bears, and so much more. Thank you for your help with this important project.
