Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students love painting with bright colored paint in the style of pop artists like Keith Haring, Andy Warhol and Wayne Thiebaud. Tempera cakes and liquid tempera are needed along with some new Sharpie markers for outlining our work.

Having access to fluorescent, bold, and bright paint colors along with black markers will really help our artwork POP!

We would also like to create some statement posters to call attention to civics issues and environmental concerns. Students can use these paints and markers to make their work stand out and demand attention.
