My Project

My goal with this project is to "bring the outdoors in."

Scientific studies show that time in nature can increase attention and focus, and decrease stress, anxiety and depression.

Time in nature can also increase test scores and student learning. Even seeing green spaces and plants indoors has been proven to help our mental health, regardless of if these plants are artificial or not! How cool. Help me bring nature and greenery into my classroom.

In addition, my biology students will also learn more about plant biology by helping to take care of our succulent garden and herb garden. What a great spot to make everything more green! I appreciate your help!

Ms. VanderLinden will only receive her materials if this project is fully funded by September 6.
