We have been working to build a collection of texts that represents a range of voices, experiences, and ways of being in this world.
We are devoted to anti-racist/anti-bias education and have been trying to observe and fill gaps in representation within our collection when we find them.
And, while we know that this is only a small number of the available options, we feel that it is a good start, based upon the recommendations on the Social Justice Books site, drawn from Native Americans in Children's Literature (AICL), and from the AICL site as well.
