My Project
We have already rehydrated and soaked all the coco coir we have received from our last two projects. We have used them in all our new raised beds, and hopefully the plants will enjoy growing in it. It keeps the soil well drained so roots do not rot, but that means you have to water it consistently so that the plants do not dry up and die.
We need more coco coir to fill our raised beds because we do not have any spare soil left on the farm!
We have so many raised beds now that we need a lot of medium to put in the beds to start planting. But this is a good problem to have because that means we have even more planting space to grow vegetables, herbs and flowers in the garden! We also need a long light bulb changer and wall washer for the farm shop.
