We Need Markers To Make Our Mark!

My students need whiteboard markers and erasers to help make our math learning more visual and interactive. Whiteboard markers are an important learning tool in our classroom that we use on a daily basis!

My Students

I teach in a Title I school in Milwaukie, Oregon that works tirelessly to meet the differing social and academic needs of all students and families in our community.

My students are an enthusiastic, hardworking, diverse group of learners!

There is buzz of excitement and purpose in the air when you enter our classroom. We work hard to have a growth mindset - we believe that everyone has the power to learn and achieve if we set goals and work hard everyday.

My Project

We use whiteboards on a daily basis in our classroom, especially during math. Students are able to record their thinking and try out new math strategies, and I am able to see what they are working on while I'm teaching. They love being able to easily erase and share their work with others.

We need more whiteboard markers and sturdy erasers so we can continue to use them everyday during our Math Workshop.

Your generous donation to this project will allow us to have a reliable classroom supply of markers and erasers to support our math learning.

I have a very large group of 38 students in my math class this year. Having a steady supply of markers will allow us to use them everyday without worrying about running out!
