My Project

In our classroom, each student has their own individual mailbox, serving as a personalized space to store their folders, classwork, papers destined for home, and treasured artwork. Taking great pride in their mailboxes, the students assume full responsibility for their upkeep and organization. Every day, they diligently place their papers and folders into their designated mailbox, and at day's end, they conscientiously retrieve their belongings to take home.

These student mailboxes have evolved into a crucial component of our daily routine, fostering a sense of ownership and accountability among the students.

Currently, our mailboxes are constructed from cardboard, which, despite its resilience over the years, is now showing signs of wear and tear. Recognizing the importance of this organizational tool, my students express a genuine enthusiasm for the prospect of new, sturdier mailboxes and trays to safeguard their schoolwork and folders. Upgrading to a more durable solution will not only enhance the functionality of our classroom organization but also reaffirm the students' commitment to their responsibilities.
