We Need Kleenex!

Help me give my students these Kleenex Facial Tissues and HEPA filters so they will have basic supplies they need for distance learning.

My Students

My students are diverse learners in different stages of development. They are amazing, inquisitive leaders who show love and kindness to each other. Although some may have difficult lives, my students come to school with smiles on their faces. They are our future and they are truly amazing people.

Coronavirus happened to my students' world unexpectedly. Their school was shut down after spring break with 9 more weeks of school left. As a teacher, I have been teaching my students through Distance Learning activities using Zoom meetings. Teaching online is a lot different than teaching in a classroom. The resources I have been using to teach have been a packet and reading books to my students. I have been reading books and doing a lot of directed drawings.

My Project

This upcoming year will definitely be challenging. I would like my students to be less stressed about becoming sick. I will send these Kleenexes home with them during distance learning. Keeping hands clean, breathing fresh air, and having Kleenex tissues available will be a great help in keeping my students healthy. These Kleenexes will help catch sneezes and coughs by keeping germs from spreading and reduce absences during distance learning.

The Honeywell HEPA filters are basic supplies needed for the Honeywell Air Purifiers that will be sent home during distance learning.

My students need these so they can replace the filters to continue breathing easier and staying healthy. It is important to remember that a student spends more time breathing in their bedroom than any other indoor space.
