I want my students to be lifelong learners who love school!

We need iPads so we are able to learn in a 21st Century environment. I teach at a Title 1 school in Vallejo, CA. Our zip code is the most diverse zip code in the country!!

Our classroom is a diverse classroom, with diverse needs. The need for technology, however, is universal and these iPads will truly be a beneficial tool for each student!

My Project

We need iPads in our classroom to enhance learning in all academic areas! We currently do not have any iPads or tablets in our classroom and it is a disservice to our students who are growing up in a technological world. We will use them to research for our annual animal reports, to play coding games, during our daily centers, and to create videos to show our understanding of math, language arts, science and social studies topics.

First graders are at an age where they can become independent learners and these iPads will help them to reach their full potential.
