This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
There are many reasons why I would like to have iPads in my classroom. iPad would allow me to present concepts in a more visually engaging and appealing way. But most of all, I really want my students to be able to learn coding with Sphero Mini. We were fortunate to receive 10 Sphero Mini robots but we do not have enough iPads for students to actively engage in learning.
There are many activities that students can work on with Sphero Mini and I want all of my students to get a chance to learn coding.
As of now, I brought 4 of my personal iPads to use in the classroom because our school does not provide any iPads to upper-grade students. We cannot connect the Sphero Mini to student Chromebooks so iPads are our only option.
These iPads will help our young minds to challenge themselves and thrive in learning.
