This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In second grade we use a lot of manipulatives and materials on a daily basis. As you can imagine, materials get used up quickly and need to be replaced often. Our classroom printer is used throughout the day to create materials that students use during centers, math, and other subjects.
My students deserve the opportunity to have readily available print resources and materials to expand their learning.
For example, students will be using picture cues, target vocabulary words, visual aides, and math tools to help support their learning. We need access to color ink in order to create fun and engaging resources for my students.
More than half of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
