My Students

I teach in a Title I school in a rural area in Louisiana. My school serves grades Pre-K-5th grade. We have around 800 students. Our second grade has 135 students, many of which qualify for free/reduced lunch.

Our school has fantastic teachers, administration and staff.

As a result of that, we continuously rank in the top of our Parish and State. Our school mission is to help every child become a self-directed, life-long learner and our school strives to accomplish that.

My Project

VersaTiles help students build math and literacy proficiency in a challenging, rewarding way. They can be used for independent practice and for use in small groups, rotations, centers, and stations. They are truly unique!

Versatiles are an engaging, screen-free alternative to traditional skills practice.

The self-checking answer system creates a safe learning environment that increases student confidence. They are a flexible, reliable, and low-prep classroom solution. Versatiles are aligned to state and national standards.

My students would benefit greatly from these. I have recently just moved to 2nd Grade, previously in 1st, which means most of my Math Games are not on their level. They need something to challenge them yet hold their interest. I know these will do just that!
