This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students have been through a lot in the past three years; they were virtual learning in kindergarten so last year was their first year in an actual school building. This being my second year with them, I really want to maintain a healthy classroom environment because a lot of them have been out with COVID (some twice), Strep Throat, and even RSV!

For some reason, soap is scarce in my school building.

I am not sure why, but the bathrooms are not consistently stocked with soap and teachers are having to provide their own. I am asking for bottles of hand soap and storage bags for the cleaning supplies I use in my classroom. The soap will be used during our bathroom breaks and cleaning days (Fridays); the bags will be used to store all of our cleaning supplies and tools.
