Help me give my students different colors of washable markers, Double-Sided Magnetic Letter Tiles, a label maker and other materials.

My Students

We are a first and second grade classroom full of different types of learners! My hardworking students come from low income households, and many are just arriving from China. Most of them are English Language Learners!

They all come from very different home environments.

Some of my students are lucky enough to live with their parents and siblings, while others may live with their grandparents or other guardians while their parents are out of state for work.

Many of my students tend to lack resources, experience, and exposure from home, so it is important for me to provide them with experiences that are both academic and fun.

My Project

As a first-year classroom teacher, we need a lot of school supplies to have a successful school year. Please help me to provide my students with school supplies, so they can successfully learn each day in our classroom. We need markers for art time and writing centers.

Many of my students are not able to provide their own supplies each year.

They will not be worried about not having markers, sharpies and a glue stick to use if I can provide them with the supplies they need.

We will be using the markers, sharpies and literacy centers during writing workshop. They will decorate their folders and publish their writing pieces with colorful markers. Also, we can use the label maker to label all our baskets in the classroom library and label all the different subjects on notebooks and folders. The adhesive putty is for hanging their beautiful works inside the classroom and it won't destroy the paint on the wall. The packing tape is for fixing the books so that they can enjoy them. The magnetic letters will be used for small group work for students to learn the sounds of letters and make words to use for the writing workshop.

Please help my students reach their maximum potential with the necessary school supplies that can be used everyday in the classroom.

These supplies will be providing them great use throughout the year.
