My Students

My class is full of energetic, awesome 3rd graders. They love knowledge and are determined to be successful. My scholars make working in a Title I school a pleasure. Regardless, of their home life, they come in everyday ready to learn. They always go above and beyond my expectations.

They are the epitome of our core values Perseverance, Respect, Integrity, Determination, and Excellence.

When you put these words together, you get PRIDE, and that's what I take, in knowing that, I have one of the best 3rd grade classes ever.

My Project

My classroom library began with only lower level picture books. Since the beginning of the year my scholars have grown more than 3 grade levels. Therefore, I would like to add more challenging novels to my classroom.

Incorporating higher level text, my scholar’s will continue to increase their confidence and this will provide them with a challenge.

The books in this pack include classics, high interest, and mysteries that will continue to grow my scholars' love for reading.

Reading is an essential skill to be successful and college bound. By providing books for my class, you will help them to continue to strive for success.
