This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students come from diverse backgrounds and bring unique experiences to our learning community.
They are developing a love for reading and writing that will stay with them for life.
I am requesting a collection of focal texts and high-interest books to support our reading and writing curriculum. These books will be used for read-aloud, independent reading, and writing lessons that draw inspiration from real authors.
With your generous support, my students will have daily access to books that help them see themselves as both readers and authors. These materials will allow us to bring each reading and writing unit to life, strengthen literacy skills, and build confidence in every student.
