My students need books for our classroom library so my students can read books they love. We need Kindergarten Classic Grade Level Library, Kindergarten Paired Studies Set.

My Students
My students come in eager to learn everyday. They are excited to see what story I will read them each day. Even though many of my students eat breakfast at school they are more worried about when we are getting our snack then what they are learning about.
My classroom had no books for a classroom library.
My class is from 9 different ethnic groups. Right now I don't have the hands on tools that these kids need to build the basics so we can be successful first graders and life long learners. At Cleveland we are working together to achieve more. My students will continue to benefit from activities where we can be working together to achieve.
My Project
Right now they only have books that other teachers have discarded or were going to throw away. As a center we read books everyday and my kids have a hard time staying focused with our poor selection of old books. By having a new library my kids will have literature that will enhance their learning. I will have more teaching time by not having to refocus my students while they are at their center. By having a wide variety of books my students will be exposed to so many different genres. My overall goal is to create a love for books within each one of my students.
