We Need Batteries to Keep Going..and Going...and Going...

My students need batteries to keep using our technology, such as student clickers, to enhance anonymous participation!

My Students

In a room surrounded by animals and plants, my students enter our jungle of a classroom engulfed by science. The classroom is designed for exploration through research and learning, via hands-on activities. By the end of the year, I want my students to be at the forefront of a STEM education.

Each student is unique in his/her own way, which makes learning that much more special.

My students love learning about the ever-changing world of science, and are captured by the fact that every day brings new discoveries in science. The school is a welcoming environment, that encourages higher-level learning, while supporting the students at every step. The school houses over 1400 middle school students, who come from different ethnic backgrounds. In order to strengthen their learning experience, I want my students to utilize all the possible resources I can provide for them.

My Project

My students need batteries to keep our technology going. We have clickers that enhance student participation without the fear of getting the answer wrong. These wonderful clickers run on batteries and some have started to die out, but our learning shall never cease to stop! We also need a tool kit that will allow us to open the clickers to replace the batteries.

Batteries will allow us to replace the old ones with new ones so we can continue to use the wonderful technology that we have to keep going, and going, and going!

Learning can be scary, but with clickers participation is easy because the fear of being wrong and scrutinized is eliminated. With the tool kit and batteries we can continue to learn with a safe environment!
