We Need Apples in Our Classroom

My students need Ipads to use during math Daily 3 and reading Daily 5 stations to practice their math facts and reading fluency. We also use these devices when learning to research animals in science.

My Students

My students are excited about coming to school. They look forward to reading books, solving math equations, and using technology. They have such huge hearts, and they give everything they've got to improve their math and reading skills daily.

My students are dreamers and thinkers, eager to learn new things daily.

They thrive on technology and love the daily challenge that many of our computer programs can bring them. We are a small town school, ready to embrace very big learning!

My Project

The new I-pads will allow me to differentiate my instruction for all levels of learning in my classroom. Students will use the devices during math and reading rotations to work independently at their level on basic math addition & subtraction skills as well as reading fluency.

My students need to be able to keep up with the technological advances of this ever-changing world.

This grant will help my students become independent thinkers and technological leaders. My hope is that their love for technology will spill over into the home, and they will have intrinsic motivation to continue their learning after our school day is over.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
