Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

I love that my students are giving a shot at learning more about technology. In fact, at the beginning of each year, my students have the opportunity for learning and participating in new things. Each child in my classroom absolutely loves learning, although the method and environment in which they learn best varies greatly. We incorporate a variety of learning strategies, group work, and alternative seating and learning options to ensure that each student's needs are met, right when they are. They are fearless when it comes to technology and, as children of the 21st century, they need to be prepared to engage in their world.

My Project

The fans that I am requesting for my students will help them focus on work instead of the room temperature. In other words, I know exactly what they need to do assignments and get labs completed daily. We just need your help in getting everything through our door! The large fans will be placed all around the classroom and used to keep class and lab at a comfortable temperature. Students will be able to simply focus on the academic material at hand, and not whether they are too hot. Plus in this technology literate world, any interaction and hands own experience will help them desire to learn and use the new technology!
