My Students

We live in a technologically-led world. New high-tech products are hitting the market every day, but I'm still using an overhead projector to model and practice skills with my students. My students need a document camera so they can interact with the concepts we are learning and show off their work.

My school is located in the southern-end of the county.

Except for the immediate area or town where our school is located, most of the surrounding area is rural farmlands. Many of my students come from low-income families with parents who work blue-collar jobs. A document camera would enhance my students' educational experience.

My Project

My students need a Epson document camera to display their work and participate interactively during lessons. With a document camera, my students will be able to show their work and projects to the entire class. Every student will be able to see the detail and effort that the presenter put into their project. It will also allow me to display materials and have students participate interactively.

I currently have 24 third grade students, but I am in contact with almost 100 third graders on a daily basis.

Getting a document camera will foster an environment of growth and enjoyment. It will change the way in which I teach and the way in which my students learn.
