My Students

I teach 22 students who face many challenges both in and out of the classroom. They live in a low-income and high-poverty environment in WI with very little access to up-to-date technology, math resources, classroom supplies, and interesting reading material.

I want to make sure my students have access to instructional materials and resources that will motivate them to ask questions, learn new concepts, take ownership of their work, and help make their future brighter.

My Project

We really need help getting organized in my classroom. Imagine walking into a very bare classroom with very little of anything. That is what I experienced as a new teacher to the building and I don't want my students to go without what everyone else has.

We need a shelf where everyone has their very own space to get organized!

This shelf will provide everyone with a very needed space. Our desks are very old and in desperate need of an upgrade but our school can't afford it so this shelf will be the second best option for all of my students.

Please help us get organized and provide everyone with their very own space.
