This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Welcome to the 2020-2021 school year! Usually a time of year that is filled with such excitement, but has become a time of much anxiety with constant changes. This year, I welcomed another first grade group into my classroom. However, it was a virtual classroom. Next month, I will be welcoming the students back into my physical classroom! I'm so excited to physically see my students! The students at our school are a diverse group of students who are energetic, enthusiastic, and eager to learn. I want to make sure that I can do everything in my power to provide them with what they need.
This is why I need a printer and ink for my classroom!
I do not have access to a working printer in my building and am unable to print materials, assessments, etc. at the school building which are pertinent to my instruction!
My Project
Having access to a working printer will help me greatly with my instructional planning.
If I have a printer at the school building, I can use it to prepare the materials my students need each day.
Teachers need a lot of printed materials to support the work the students are doing. These materials would support their daily learning across all subjects, as well as enable me to print assessments, etc... Without a working printer, I may not have access to the best supports I can provide my students with.
Please help me give my students everything they need to help them succeed!
