This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I am a media specialist in a Title I school where the majority of the students receive free or reduced price lunch. I think the students in my school are very special. Even though they have many economic disadvantages, they work really hard and never give up. They are dedicated students and put in lots of effort to be successful with their school work. They not only want to succeed, but they want their peers to succeed as well. They work in teams to make sure everyone understands the concepts and no one gets left behind or falls through the cracks.

My Project

Every morning my school news crew produces our morning announcement in our TV studio. We were gifted a new wireless microphone to improve our sound quality. We were told the microphone was compatible with the receiver we had. Unfortunately that was not the case. We have a new microphone but can't use it because it is not the same frequency as the receiver.

Help improve the sound quality of our morning news program.

My students are frustrated when their friends tell them they can barely hear them when they are watching in the classroom. My students love producing segments on science and the environmental issues with our Green Team.
