My students need a music stand rack to place all their music stands after rehearsal and during a show or performance.

My Students

Music is the universal language for all students. Remember when you were in high school and you had a bad day, yet you heard that song on the radio and suddenly your day just got a bit better?

Music class for these students, it's the highlight of their day.

It's that one class the students look forward to each day. These students attend one of the most diverse schools in all California. They come from all walks of life, and many can't afford the basic essentials for classroom materials.

My Project

We are lucky to still have a music program on campus and it is BURSTING at the seems with students!! I have so many students that they can't even fit in the same room! Putting music stands in the back of the room takes up even more space, so that is why having a rack for the stands will not only save precious classroom space but will also help clean up the space.

In addition to the music rack saving classroom space, having a music stand rack will also allow students to easily move the music materials to the theater, gym or other performance areas.

In most music rooms, a music stand rack is a basic essential component to the classroom (just like textbooks are for a math class), however we don't even have 1 rack. This would greatly support our students.
