We Need a Music Room Rug

My students need a soft, sturdy rug on which to learn during music class.

My Students

My students come into music class with open hearts and minds. They are loving, intelligent, silly, and eager to learn. We dance, sing, and play together every day - making music with them is so much fun!

The children at my Title I school deserve high-quality educational materials that make learning accessible, enjoyable, and effective.

Lack of funding, however, means their teachers need help gaining access to these materials.

There is no reason these children shouldn't have everything they need to succeed.

My Project

All 500+ students at my school, from Pre-K through 5th grade, take music class. They deserve a comfortable place to learn.

The children sing, dance, and play instruments on the floor in the music room (we have no chairs), so a sturdy, comfortable rug is a necessity for us.

We are currently using a carpet remnant from the local hardware store. Constant use has worn it down and I don't expect it to last through the year. We need a new rug. This particular music-themed rug is the best there is and would make the perfect addition to our classroom.
