This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are a very creative and curious group. They learn best through visuals and hands on activities. The Cricut and materials bundle will be used to help create those visuals and pieces for our activities. The Cricut carrying case will help keep all of the supplies organized. Because of COVID-19, my students spent most of that year and a half distance learning. This put most of them behind in their education.
The items I have chosen for my project will help my students create and utilize visuals, add and explore STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics) elements, and enhance their learning.
The microscope and slides will help students get a closer look into cells when we learn about them in science. The planet system will help be a visual for the students as we learn about our Solar System. The four carts and file organizer will be used to help create a more organized learning environment for student's supplies and work.
